"What is Your Why??"
You've no doubt been asked this on several occasions and I can't remember how long it took me to actually figure out what that question meant.
You see your why is what inspires and really pushes you on.
If it's forceful enough, you will do whatever it takes to achieve the success that you want for yourself.
However if it's not acute enough, this business is so hard that you may well become one of the people who fail.
When you're new to online marketing it's easy to get carried away with the idea of making heaps of money and that's something that hardly any of us don't affirm as one aspect of our incentive for getting involved in this business. Yet that factor alone will not be enough to sustain you and keep you picking yourself up, dusting yourself off and moving forward when the going gets tough..
Your why has to something inside you, for it to compel you hard enough to keep pushing you onwards when all you want to do is sit in the corner and lick your wounds, it has to be an issue that you get real excited about in it's own right, something that makes you feel whole regardless of whether you have enough money to pay your bills.
Finding your why is what enables you to stop chasing prospects and start pulling them to you, when you realise what makes you tick, what really inspires you and you utilise that, others relate to the confidence and the increased self awareness that generates and they begin to be drawn by that certainty.
When you first got involved, were you told to draft your warm list and approach them (family, friends, work colleagues), that's desperate, and it's a certain way to get those people turned off and avoiding you. Sure if you're really lucky you may have a few people on that list who are fired up and ready to do whatever it takes, but in all truthfulness, aren't there far more people on that list who switch off as soon as you start talking about your business? Learn to avoid them before they start to avoid you and establish you as the guy or gal that they least want to be around.
It's vital for you to take control of the situation if you want to stop chasing & start attracting prospects to you - make a conscious choice to spend time and energy on people who want to move forward with you rather than those who expect so much support to take a step or two that they drag you backwards constantly.
